Every project

Sound is how it
becomes legible
I'm Nicolás Infantas — I build narrative audio where sound design, composition and intention work as one system.
Narrative audio for games and visual media.
I'm Nicolás Infantas — sound designer and composer specializing in narrative-driven audio for games, cinematics and visual media.
Ten years in sound, six as a freelancer — over 300 international projects delivered across game audio, film scores and animation.
Every project already carries a code — a rhythm, a latent direction. Sound doesn't create it. It learns to read it first, then makes it audible.
Selected projects across games, film and animation.
A game studio needed a complete audio identity — from trailer impact to in-game ambience. The brief was clear: sound that feels as polished as the visuals.
I designed the full audio system covering SFX, foley, ambience layers and trailer sound design. Every sound was built to reinforce the game's world without competing with it.
The project required cinematic sound design for narrative cutscenes — moments where sound had to carry emotional weight without music covering everything.
I built a layered design system for each cinematic sequence, working with silence as much as with sound to let the story breathe.
A game-style animated short running nearly three minutes — continuous sound design across multiple environments, characters and scene changes.
The challenge was maintaining energy and coherence across a complex timeline while keeping every sound decision intentional.
An arcade game with a strong visual personality needed sound design that matched its pace — fast, reactive and character-driven.
I designed the full SFX library, ambience system and interactive audio logic for the game's core loop.
An indie game with a defined aesthetic needed an original soundtrack that felt native to its world — not borrowed from genre references.
I composed two pieces building the game's musical identity from scratch, designed to loop without breaking immersion.
A feature film required original music that could hold emotional continuity across a full narrative arc — three pieces, each at a different dramatic point.
I composed the score working closely with the director's vision, building themes that evolved with the story rather than underscoring it.
He took the time to understand the project and build a sound design theme to match. The delivered sounds fit perfectly with the game.
Despite never having tackled this type of work before, he immediately grasped the vision and blew me away with outstanding results from the first pass.
He delivered high-quality sound effects that perfectly matched the game's atmosphere and our target audience. Attention to detail made all the difference.
He treated the project like his own — went over and beyond, took feedback well, and delivered well before time.
Prior to Nicolás I had trouble finding the right fit — he turned my animation project into a full blown production. Not just a web video anymore.
He understood exactly what I wanted for my game and delivered it early. A pleasure to work with — hopefully we can work together again.
